Custom Themes Overview

VertiTab's custom theme feature allows you to fully personalize the browser extension's appearance. You can choose from built-in themes or create your own themes.

How to Use Custom Themes

Access Theme Settings

  1. Open VertiTab settings page
  2. Click "Custom Themes" in the sidebar menu

Apply Built-in Themes

  1. Click the "Apply" button on any theme card
  2. The theme will be immediately applied to the entire extension interface

Edit Themes

  1. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of a theme card
  2. Select "Edit" to enter the theme editor

Copy Themes

  1. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on a theme card
  2. Select "Copy Theme"
  3. The system will create a new theme named "Copy of [Original Theme Name]"

Create New Themes

  1. Click the "Create New Theme" card
  2. Choose to start from a blank template or base on an existing theme

Built-in Theme Collection

VertiTab includes a curated collection of professionally designed themes:

Basic Themes

  • Default: Clean and simple standard theme
  • Elegant Morandi: Low-saturation, elegant and healing color scheme
  • Warm Cream: Warm and comfortable cream tones

Pantone Color of the Year Series

  • Living Coral (2019), Classic Blue (2020)
  • Ultimate Gray & Illuminating (2021), Very Peri (2022)
  • Viva Magenta (2023), Peach Fuzz (2024)
  • Mocha Mousse (2025), and more

Cultural Style Themes

  • Elegant Japanese Style: Cherry blossom pink and matcha green
  • Classical Chinese Style: Cinnabar red and celadon blue
  • Neon Cyberpunk: Cyberpunk style
  • Sweet Macaron: French macaron colors

Theme Card Features

Each theme card displays:

  • Theme name and description
  • Color preview bar: Shows the theme's main colors
  • Status labels:
    • "Current": Currently active theme
    • "Built-in": System preset theme
  • Apply button: Click to instantly switch themes

Important Notes

  • Custom theme features require premium membership
  • Deleted custom themes cannot be recovered; consider exporting backups first
  • Theme changes apply immediately to the entire extension interface
