Import from Other Extensions

RabbitPair supports importing tab collections from other popular browser extensions and converting them into tab snapshots. This allows you to migrate your saved browsing sessions seamlessly.

Supported Extensions

Session Buddy

Import saved sessions from Session Buddy extension:

• Converts Session Buddy collections into tab snapshots
• Preserves folder structure as separate windows
• Maintains tab titles and URLs

Tab Session Manager

Import sessions from Tab Session Manager:

• Converts TSM sessions into snapshots
• Preserves window and tab organization
• Maintains tab group information

Toby

Import tab collections from Toby extension:

• Converts Toby lists into snapshots
• Preserves tab organization and titles
• Filters out note cards automatically

How to Import

1. Access Import Feature

   • Open the snapshot management page
   • Click the import button or menu option

2. Select Extension Type

   • Choose the extension you want to import from
   • Select the appropriate import option

3. Upload Data File

   • Select the exported data file from the source extension
   • The file will be processed automatically

4. Review Imported Snapshots

   • Imported collections appear as new snapshots
   • Each collection becomes a separate snapshot
   • Review and organize as needed

Export Data from Source Extensions

From Session Buddy

1. Open Session Buddy extension
2. Go to Settings → Export
3. Export your collections as a file

From Tab Session Manager

1. Open Tab Session Manager
2. Go to Settings → Export/Import
3. Export your sessions

From Toby

1. Open Toby extension
2. Use the export function in settings
3. Save the exported data file

After Import

• Imported snapshots are created with source extension name prefix
• All imported snapshots are marked as manual snapshots
• You can rename, organize, and manage them like regular snapshots
• Consider enabling sync for important imported snapshots

Future Support

More extensions will be supported in future updates. The import feature is designed to accommodate additional tab management extensions as needed.
