Clear Tab Data
VertiTab provides options to clear website data for individual tabs, helping you resolve website issues, free up storage, or reset website states without affecting other sites.
Clear Cookies
Removes only cookies for the specific website, keeping other site data intact.
Access: Right-click on tab → "Clear Cookies"
Clear Cookies and Site Data
Performs comprehensive data clearing including:
- Cookies: Website authentication and preferences
- Cache Storage: Cached files and resources
- Local Storage: Website's local data storage
- Session Storage: Temporary session data
- IndexedDB: Website's database storage
- Service Workers: Background scripts
- File System: Website's file storage
- WebSQL: Legacy database storage
- Browser History: History entries for this domain
Access: Right-click on tab → "Clear Cookies and Site Data"
Permission Requirements
Both features require Cookies permission to function:
- VertiTab will request permission when first used
- Permission is required to access and clear website data
- Permission Required Icon appears next to menu items
- If permission is denied, the feature will show an error message
URL Restrictions
- Only works with HTTP/HTTPS URLs
- Not available for browser internal pages (chrome://, edge://, etc.)
- Menu items automatically hide for non-web URLs

Troubleshooting
Feature Not Available?
- Ensure you're on an HTTP/HTTPS website
- Check that Cookies permission is granted
- Verify the tab is not showing a browser internal page
Clearing Failed?
- Grant Cookies permission when prompted
- Try refreshing the page manually if automatic refresh fails
- Some data may require browser restart to fully clear
