Return to Last Accessed Tab

When you close a tab, VertiTab can return to the tab you were using before instead of the next tab in line.

Setting Location

1. Open VertiTab settings
2. Go to Tab Settings > Tabs
3. Enable "Return to Previously Accessed Tab After Closing"

How It Works

Default (Disabled):

• Close tab → Browser activates next tab (standard behavior)

When Enabled:

• Close tab → Returns to the tab you were using before
• More logical for task-switching between specific tabs

When to Use

Enable When:

• You switch between specific tabs frequently
• You want to return to your previous work after closing a tab
• You prefer logical navigation over positional navigation

Keep Disabled When:

• You prefer standard browser behavior
• You work through tabs sequentially

This setting makes tab navigation more intuitive by following your actual usage patterns.
